The ‘892’ stars reveal how they prepared for their roles in this true story of a veteran who takes a bank hostage when his disability check fails to arrive. John Boyega plays Brian, a veteran on the brink of homelessness. Olivia Washington is Cassandra, estranged wife of Brian and mother of their daughter. Nicole Beharie is Estel, the bank teller Brian takes hostage. The trio also discuss what they got to know about one another in their brief time together and the song Boyega used to get into character for the film’s stirring climax.
