Wonder Woman 1984 Finally Announces Opening Date

NEW YORK (RichTMX.com) – “Wonder Woman 1984,” the last potential Hollywood blockbuster remaining on the 2020 film calendar, will open both in theaters and on HBO Max, on Dec. 25. The New Superhero Sequel “Wonder Woman 1984”

The first “Wonder Woman,”  earned $800 million worldwide. Of that, $400 million came from audiences in the United States and Canada. The sequel takes place in 1984 and reunites the director Patty Jenkins with the actors Gal Gadot and Chris Pine. Kristen Wiig will portray the villain Cheetah.   Gal Gadot is an Israeli actress, model, and producer. At age 18, she was crowned Miss Israel 2004. She then served two years in the Israel Defense Forces as a fitness/combat readiness instructor, after which she began studying law and international relations at IDC Herzliya college while building her modelling and acting careers.

Gadot’s first international film role came as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious, a role she reprised in subsequent installments of the film franchise. She went on to gain worldwide recognition for portraying Diana Prince / Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, beginning with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), followed by the solo film Wonder Woman and the ensemble Justice League (both 2017). In 2018, Time magazine named Gadot one of the 100 most influential people in the world, and she was ranked among the world’s highest-paid actresses. In October 2020, Forbes magazine’s annual list of highest-paid actresses placed Gadot at no. 3, citing her $20 million for her role in the Netflix film Red Notice.
